Cynnal y Cardi Entrepreneurs

The Academy of Tomorrow project delivered by Coleg Ceredigion promoted opportunities for young people to learn more about potential careers in various sectors in Ceredigion. They not only gained hands on experience, but also gained skills and learned about how sectors work. It highlighted the opportunities for young people to become entrepreneurs.

Following on from this Cynnal y Cardi commissioned AMP Digital to create a series of films of local entrepreneurs promoting the possibilities in Ceredigion. There are many excellent examples of people in Ceredigion who have started their own successful businesses and this was an opportunity to showcase those successes.

The businesses filmed as part of the project include Cattle Strength, In the Welsh Wind, Llaethliw Vineyard, JW Aerial Solutions and AMP Digital.

Cattle Strength

Cattle strength is owned by young, local entrepreneur Rhys Jones. Located in the Dyffryn Aeron, Cattle Strength delivers a personalised and premium approach to personal training which is served in a private gym facility on a farm. To view the Cattle Strength film click here.

In the Welsh Wind

Situated in Tanygroes, overlooking Cardigan Bay, In the Welsh Wind is owned by Alex and Ellen. In the Welsh wind is a distillery who specialise in creating bespoke spirits tailored to you in their copper pot stills Meredith and Afanc. To view the In the Welsh Wind film click here.

Llaethliw Vineyard

Following research into the diversification of farming and climate change, the Evans family, local to the Teifi and Aeron valleys, planted their first vines in 2009. Llaethliw Vineyard is situated on the coastal plain at the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains in Neuaddlwyd, Aberaeron and is managed by the son, Jac. JW Aerial Solutions

JW Aerial Solutions have fully embraced the world of aerial photography and video. Located in West Wales, Young owner and entrepreneur, Jamie, is now in his second year of being a CAA approved commercial pilot, working on a wide range of projects from feature film production to roof inspections and surveys.
