HOW TO APPLY
APPLICATION PROCESS
We are currently accepting ideas for cooperation projects only.
We have now committed the majority of our funds but we are continually reviewing our funding situation as current project activity progresses and we will publish any update on our website.
If you have cooperation or other project ideas and would like assistance with progressing them, please contact the team via cynnalycardi@ceredigion.gov.uk if you need to discuss this further.
Applications are welcomed in both Welsh or English. View the application process flowchart.

PROCESS 2
ALL OTHER LEADER ACTIVITY
STAGE 1
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
The EOI process is primarily about checking the eligibility of the application and recognising its potential. Following receipt of EOI form, the Cynnal y Cardi team will check whether it’s eligible, fits in with LDS and that it adheres to LEADER principles. Comments will be provided too from the LAG.
The EOI will then be discussed by the LAG. The LAG will then decide on whether the applicant is invited to prepare and submit a full application. No formal scoring will take place. The LAG discussion will be based on the following:
- Does it fit with LDS?
- Does the LAG like the idea?
- Does it adhere to LEADER principles?
- Is it eligible?
- Does it respond to an identified need?
Applicants can re-submit their EOI, or if not suitable for LEADER support, applicants will be signposted to a more suitable funding programme.
